Neatly stored, clearly presented and safely transported – the flexible foam insert for model railways in N gauge in the sturdy Eurobox.
The set consists of:
- 1 Auer Packaging Euro container / Euro box with hinged lid ED 64/75 HG (DSEB070)
- 1 Feldherr train bed with 10 compartments for models in N gauge (EUMEWCA02)
- 2 self-adhesive pads, 5 mm thick, as side padding for the inside of the box (FABA005S)
- 1 foam mat, 10 mm, as levelling base (KABA010)
- 1 self-adhesive foam cover, 10 mm, for the inside of the lid (CFBA010S)
- 2 foam mats, 10 mm, for levelling and additional cushioning (EUBA010)
This set is available in different versions – for example as an economy package or with a transport trolley.
With the Feldherr train bed, you can not only store your models neatly and transport them safely. Thanks to the V-shaped compartments, you can also use the insert as a display to present your own collection.
Ten compartments, tailor-made for N-scale model railways, offer your locomotives and wagons reliable protection for storage and transport.
The models lie almost upright and are also easy to reach from the side. This makes the train bed just as suitable as an inclined storage area for minor maintenance work and repairs on your locomotives.
Several trains and carriages can be stored next to each other in one compartment. To prevent them from colliding or accidentally coupling, the set also contains the appropriate foam spacers. Additional spacers are available separately (HS025A002).
Also included in the package are two self-adhesive pads that can be used on the right and left sides as additional padding.
Your models are stored safely all around and are permanently protected against damage to small parts and details by the high-quality, age-resistant foam. In the future, you no longer need to worry about wear and tear such as scratches and flaking paint.
Of course, we only use chlorine- and acid-free foam, which does not attack the material or the paintwork.
The 10 compartments have the dimensions:
- Length of compartments: 560 mm
- Length of the legs (compartment depth): approx. 24 mm each
- Bottom to tip: approx. 28 mm
- Bottom to bottom: approx. 10 mm
The convoluted foam lid is self-adhesive and can be attached to the lid of the Euro container. This ensures that the models do not hit the lid of the Euro container unprotected during transport.
Your model railway collection is stored absolutely safely in the robust Euro container from AUER Packaging made of shock-resistant and dimensionally stable plastic. The lid, with an easy-to-use hinge system and two locking levers, reliably protects the contents from dust and dirt. The box is stackable and can be carried using the recessed handles on the sides.

Der Modelleisenbahn-Aufbewahrungskoffer im Maßstab N wurde für seine robuste Konstruktion und seinen sicheren Schutz gelobt. Kunden sagten, es sei „die beste Aufbewahrungslösung auf dem Markt“ mit hochwertigen Schaumstoffeinlagen. Die Box ist stapelbar und staubdicht. Einige bekannte Züge bewegen sich während des Transports und verlangten nach Tragegriffen. Einige der erwähnten Schaumstoffänderungen reduzierten die Sicherheit im Vergleich zu älteren Versionen.
Das rollende Material kann mit dieser Box bestens und sicher aufbewahrt und transportiert werden. Während des Transports sind die Modelle bestens geschützt und bewegen sich nicht. Ausserdem sind mehrere Boxen perfekt stapelbar.
Grundsätzlich eine gute und sichere Möglichkeit Lokomotiven zu Lagern und zu Transportieren.
Leider bleiben manchmal Kleinteile wie Puffer, Pantographen oder andere Ansteckteile in dem porigem Schaumstoff hängen. Was dann, wenn man es zunächst nicht mitbekommt, zum Verlust oder Zerstörung von Teilen führt.

Fabolus case, very sturdy and ultra safe for storage and moving my trains. One tiny niggle is that I would have loved a handle on the long side to carry like a suitcase. not a biggie. i attached some handles my self, now perfect. thank you guys.
Great storage and travel case. Still needs a luggage handle added to make transport easier. Come with three foam sheets. One for inside the cover. One should be put under the slant foam piece and the other on top to keep cars from moving.
Top Qualität, gute und sichere Aufbewahrung
gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
Da ich mir im Februar 2026 eine Modelleisenbahn in Spur N zugelegt hatte, brauchte ich aus Platzgründen auch eine gute Lagermöglichkeit für das "Rollende Material".
Ein kleiner Vitrinen-Kasten bot schon gute Abhilfe in Augenhöhe vor meinem PC-Arbeitstisch, aber eine gute Lagermöglichkeit, auch für längere Zeit, wurde immer noch gesucht.
Die fand ich dann in dem 60x40 cm großen Euroboxen-Set mit Zug-Liege von Feldherr.
Obwohl ich dann beim Empfang der Ware doch etwas überrascht war, über die Größe der wirklich sehr stabilen und sauber verarbeiteten Box, habe ich den Kauf keine Sekunde bereut.
Ganz im Gegenteil. Ich werde mir noch eine zweite, gleiche Box, nur in halber Größe bestellen.
Die ist dann dafür bestimmt, wenn ich mit meinem "Rollenden Material" die Enkelkinder besuchen gehe.
Mit einem kleinen Koffer verschiedenster Güterwagen und Lokomotiven - und einem Gleisoval auf leichter Sperrholzplatte von gerade mal 100 x 50 cm.
Well designed and engineered storage box with good quality materials and craftsmanship. Lid and hinge fittings work well, foam insert is of a higher quality than similar products offering good protection for model trains that have detailed parts. Service, shipping and communication throughout were excellent.

Stabile Boxen mit reichlich Platz für größere Zuggarnuturen
Perfekte Transportkisten, sehr gut für die Aufbewahrung von Lokomotiven.
Was ich schade finde, früher war im Deckel ein Schaumstoff der leicht wellig war, was die Züge besser gehalten hat, als der glatte Schaumstoff heute. Wenn ich die Box leicht schüttel, bewegen sich Loks und Wagen hin und her. Da ist zu viel Luft zwischen Liegefläche und Deckel. Für Ausstellungen (Aufbau, Abbau, Transporter. etc.) sind die Boxen leider nicht mehr zu gebrauchen- das war mit den etwas älteren Boxen besser. Aber genau dafür brauche ich die Boxen. Schade das man eine gute Box schlechter gemacht hat.

Dafür sollte eigentlich ein separater Schaumstoffboden beiliegen. Das Feedback vieler Kunden war, dass sich der Anpressdruck durch diesen zusätzlichen Zwischenboden individueller gestalten lässt als bei der früheren Noppenschaum-Lösung im Deckel.
Bisher war das Feedback dazu auch deutlich besser, da die Boxen so flexibler an unterschiedliche Modelle angepasst werden können.
Fehlte bei dir dieser Zwischenboden?

Bisher die beste und sicherste Methode um meine Loks und Wagons zulagern und zu transportieren. Habe mittlerweile vier Stück, die sich auch gut stapeln lassen. Durch die schräge Lagerung kann man alles einfach entnehmen und erkennen.
Bin ganz happy mit den Boxen. Einziger Abzug gibt es weil ich den Deckelschaumstoff selbst kleben musste. Ohne Erfahrung und der starken klebekraft ist das eine Herausforderung der ich nicht gewachsen war. Nun sieht’s halt scheisse aus
Ich finde die Umstellung des Innenlebens nicht so gelungen. Die alten Inlays mit den Noppen fand ich besser. Hier muss man probieren was passt. Nicht restlos überzeugt.

My storage box for organizing my N scale locomotives and train cars seems like a fantastic idea. Everything is neatly arranged in several rows, sorted by type of car and by locomotive era. When you close the lid, everything stays perfectly in place, gently but securely held, and nothing gets damaged.
I think it’s a great invention because you can stack your collections, label them, and give each one a name so they are always well organized. This way, you can easily take out whichever ones you want for your layout, run them, and then store them back in the corresponding box.

Eine wirklich sehr gut durchdachte Unterbringung für die Spur N Sammlung.
Ich habe eine Komplett-Box gekauft. Hier muss allerdings der Noppenschaumstoff im Deckel
und die beiden Seitenstreifen selbst eingeklebt werden. Das abziehen der Folie von dem doppelseitigen Klebeflächen bedarf einiger Übung. Und bei den 5mm starken Seitenstreifen dehnt sich das Material dadurch etwas. Was das Einkleben etwas schwieriger macht.
Wie angegeben sehr schönes Produkt. Die Aufteilung ist auch sehr schön.
