The foam spacers are ideal as spacers for locomotives and prevent them from accidentally coupling or running into each other. The recess in the middle prevents the coupling from getting caught in the foam.

Abstandhalter aus Schaumstoff, entworfen für die Lagerung und den Transport von Modelleisenbahnen im Maßstab H0/00. Kunden gaben an, dass sie „perfekt zum Schutz von Kupplungen“ bei Lagerung und Transport in Containern geeignet sind. Die meisten lobten den erschwinglichen Preis und das weiche Material. Ein Kunde hielt das Produkt für unnötig und schlug Alternativen in Form von Verpackungsstreifen vor.

Maar deze dingetjes kunt u ook snijden uit de stroken die meegeleverd worden in de kratten. Die stroken kunt u met een goede schaar of scherp hobbymes op elke lengte maken die u wenst. Dan zijn deze slappe producten totaal niet nodig.
Sorry. De vergoeding die ik krijg als bonus. Is het product niet waard. Die mag u houden.
Als ik nog een krat nodig heb, bestel ik die toch wel en komen er weer vulstroken mee die ik opmaat maak om tussen het materieel te steken zodat het tijdens transport niet beschadigd.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I fully understand your point when you buy a crate or box and can cut the included strips to size yourself.
However, the spacers do offer clear added value for other customers. Not everyone buys a box, and not everyone wants to or is able to cut the strips neatly to size themselves. For these customers, ready-made spacers are a practical solution to keep the equipment more securely in place during transport.
But of course, it’s perfectly fine if you prefer to use the included strips for this purpose. That’s also a good solution if it works well for you.
