🚂 Model Railroaders' Day 2025: We celebrate the never-ending hobby!

December 2nd, 2025 will be the day again: Model Railroader's Day is approaching.
It is not an official holiday and not a reason to take a day off school, but for us it means more than many a real holiday.
Because we all know:
Those who love model railways celebrate a little bit of railway life every day.
A day for tinkerers, planners, collectors and perfectionists.
There is hardly a hobby that unites as many worlds as ours:
Technology, creativity, history, landscaping, crafting, precision - and of course the joy when a locomotive rolls smoothly for the first time over freshly laid tracks.
Model Railroaders' Day is a good occasion to remember this.
Why are we doing all this in the first place?
- Because the first light in a self-built train station has something magical about it.
- Because one spends more time working on a track plan than others spend on a doctoral thesis.
- Because there are those moments when everything fits perfectly: wheels, radii, couplings - and you can simply watch with satisfaction.
- And because it's a hobby that connects generations. From the grandpa who knows everything, to the child who curiously asks: "Can I squeeze it?"
We celebrate them all.
These small, quiet moments of happiness that only model railroaders know.
And us? We're celebrating too!
We at Feldherr love this hobby just as much as you do.
We know the feeling of holding a model in your hand, knowing that:
It must be stored securely so that it lasts a long time.
That's why we're especially looking forward to celebrating Model Railroaders' Day with you in 2025 - entirely without an official commission, simply out of passion.
Whether H0, TT, N or Z:
Every track has its stories. Every locomotive its place. And every model deserves protection.
