This Feldherr train cradle is a special foam tray for Z-gauge model railways. It serves to safely store and transport your locomotives and wagons and, thanks to the V-shaped compartments, can also be used as a display for presenting your collection, as well as a practical inclined rest for minor maintenance work.

The seven V-shaped compartments of the tray are precisely matched to Z-gauge model railways and offer your locomotives and wagons reliable protection during storage and transport. Due to the shape, the models lie almost upright and are easily accessible from the side. This makes the train cradle ideal for attractively presenting your trains or for using them as an inclined rest for minor maintenance and repair work.

Multiple trains and wagons can be placed side-by-side in each compartment, allowing you to efficiently store even extensive collections. The tray measures 360 mm x 270 mm x 30 mm and fits into all standard Euroboxes or storage boxes with dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm. The individual compartments have a length of 360 mm, a leg length (compartment depth) of approximately 24 mm each, with a height of approx. 2 mm from the bottom to the peak and approx. 13 mm to the trough.

The foam used is high-quality, fine-pored, chlorine-free, and acid-free. It does not attack the material or the paintwork of your models and permanently protects against damage to delicate parts and details. This effectively reduces scratches, wear, and chipping paint. Thanks to its age resistance and UV stability, the foam remains dimensionally stable and reliable even with long-term use. Made in Germany.
